Have you ever noticed that "lol" kind of looks like a guy drowning?
You know...the "o" is the head, and the "l"s are his arms waving in the air?
Do you see it?
Well anyways, here is a lol-worthy clip for ya.

srunch-a-doodle-doooooo
ohkayy, so scrunching your hair. its not hard, its just a matter of getting the recipe rightt.
start with wet hairr. then you wanna towel dry but scrunch it with the towel.
get some mousse. scrunch.
let it sit for about 10 minutes if you can then get conditioner and scrunch with that.
let it sit for a bit longer, if its not quite curly enough, scrunch in more mousse (but not too much, just one hand full)
and then get a SMALL bit of gel and scrunch in for hold.
:] annnd yer done! <3 enjoyy

movies that will stand the test of time
There are some movies that ya just love. You can watch them over and over, and they are still just as good as the first time (maybe even better).
Here are a few of mine:
Big Fish
This is kind of a zany movie about the relationship between a father and son, Edward and Will Bloom. Edward is a storyteller, and Will thinks he only spins tall tales. This movie is a little wacky, but in the end Will learns that truth-telling and story-telling have more in common than he thought. (that was kind of a cheesy sum-up, but I don't want to spoil it for you)
How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days
This was sort of a rite-of-passage movie for me. I saw it for the first time when I was 18 and about to move away from home. It became an apartment favorite, and even now, through the crazy (but predictable) plot, I think of those days when I was learning how to be an adult.
Plus, it's hilarious.
Ever After
This is another one that I get a little nostalgic over. This was my favorite favorite movie when I was about 11 or 12. When I was a kid, I was all about princess movies. This is like a more grown-up princess movie that I don't have to feel embarrassed about, so it makes the list.
Ferris Bueller's Day Off
Life moves pretty fast. If you don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.
Ferris is the teenager we all wanted to be: carefree, adventurous, well-known, and well-loved. No wonder Jeannie was jealous.
Wild America
Do you remember the days of swooning over JTT? I sure do. I was a member of his fan club, and one of my most prized possessions was an autographed photo of the teeny-bopper star. Good ol' Jonathan Taylor did a few movies during his time, but Wild America will always be my favorite.
Oklahoma! (starring Hugh Jackman)
I am a Hugh Jackman lover. In this less-than-well-known flick, he sings, dances, and acts. My aunt would call that a triple-threat, folks. I am a complete dork who love, love, loves musicals. Add to that my love of Hugh Jackman, and you've got a winner.

deodorant say whaaat?
Do you ever get deodorant on your shirt? It happens to us all at one time or another. aaannnnddd....it's super annoying.
I have a trick that works like magic to get rid of those tell-tale white streaks. But alas, I am not Harry Potter, people. I don't have a magic wand, and nothing happens when I say Avada Kedavra! Just kidding. I've never tried that one.
Anyways...grab a pair of pantyhose and we'll be on our way. Just rub the pantyhose on the deodorant spot, and voila! It's gone.
As if by magic.

dead skin be gone!
when you're trying to use an over-the-counter self tanner you need to be sure you've exfoliated before you use it. (this is actually a good idea to do whenever you do any kind of fake tanning) but exfoliaters sometimes can get a bit pricey..sooo make one :]
sugar scrub:
1/2 c. sugar
1/4 c. olive oil
optional:
a cap full of lemon juice
and a few drops of orange essential oils
now you can use any scents you like or ones that relax you (like lavender) but i like the citrus-y one. it's invigorating and just smells super yummy :]

music I'm lovin' on
***no copyright infringement intended***
I recently discovered The Weepies. Here is just one of their songs that I'm lovin' on.
"Gotta Have You"
----
Zooey Deschanel is always worthwhile, and her version of "Dream a Little Dream of Me" is lovely.
While we're on the subject of Zooey Deschanel, I might as well bring up She & Him. "I Was Made for You" is one of my favs.
----
I also dig the mellow sound of The Jayhawks. Here is "All the Right Reasons."
Love.

eye makeup remover...in the baby aisle?
Betcha didn't know that baby shampoo makes a great eye makeup remover.
Simple, gentle, and inexpensive. Just mix one part baby shampoo with two parts water. Wet a cotton ball with the solution and gently rub around your eye. Rinse off excess shampoo with warm water.
Try it. You like it.
